We have all seen a show or two of the reality show the Biggest Loser. And we all know that the contestants in that show successfully shed off significant weights. It makes you wonder therefore if the experiences of these contestants were real. Well, they were. But they followed a different diet plan which obviously worked for all of them- the Biggest Loser Club Diet. We would like to show you the basic tenets of this diet:
Avoid processed foods - This diet encourages its followers to not eat any processed food. These foods are unhealthy because they lack nutrition, have additives that are incorporated into the food for better flavor perhaps or for longer shelf life. But these have, along with other things, trans fats that would not work for you at all if you are trying to lose weight. They make good instant meals but they also add up to the pounds quickly.
Be conscious of the portion sizes - Each serving of food is enough to provide the human body with the ideal amount and mixture of nutrients, minerals, vitamins and fundamental nutrition. Go beyond your sufficient portion sizes if you want to take the risks. But remember, we warned you.
Know what good and bad fats are - There are many types of fats but in general, they are only divided into two categories: good fats and bad fats. Good fats are those that provide you slow burning body fuels such as the oleic and palmitic fats of acai berry or the Omega oils and other essential fats from a diverse selection of foods. The bad fats are those that do not contribute to the health of your system and get piled up in your body. You do want to stay from those.
Know what being full means - Some people want to stuff themselves so much that they can no longer breathe easily. This is dangerous not only because you will bag up unnecessary weight but you would also overload your digestive system. The biggest loser club diet adheres to just the right amount of food to be taken daily.
